Description

A sweet white wine from the Sauternes appellation made in the commune of Fargues, produced through concentration by Botrytis cinerea (noble rot). It is based mainly on Semillon with a portion of Sauvignon blanc, which together balance sweetness and acidity. The wine typically displays a golden colour with aromas of candied fruit, florals and subtle mineral notes. It has a rich structure tempered by freshness that supports further ageing in bottle.
