Description

Moulin de Duhart is the second wine of Château Duhart-Milon in the Pauillac appellation. It is selected from the estate’s vineyards, generally drawing on younger vines, and spends less time in barrel than the grand vin. Its name recalls an old mill that once stood on the Carruades plateau beside the Duhart-Milon vines. The setting is the northern Médoc, where gravel and sandy soils run along the Milon hillside near woodland, meadows and wetlands. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are the red varieties grown on the property, linking this bottling to the vineyard identity of the estate.
