Description

Château Gloria grew from Henri Martin’s project to build a Saint-Julien estate by gradually acquiring small vineyard parcels, mainly from classified growths. That unusual origin brought together diverse soils and microclimates, which remain central to the wine’s identity. The vineyard includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Grapes are harvested by hand and vinified in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats before maturation in barrels. Gloria therefore retains the character of a property assembled piece by piece, with the differences between its sites brought together through selection and blending into a coherent expression of Saint-Julien.
