Description

Château Gressina’s Cuvée Pierre Blanche is a red from the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. The vineyard lies on the right bank of the Gironde, near Saint-Seurin-de-Cursac and Saint-Martin-Lacaussade, close to the estuary. Soils are clay and limestone, and the blend gives the leading role to Merlot, accompanied by Cabernet Sauvignon. This places the wine in the Blaye area, across the water from Margaux and Pauillac. Pierre Blanche therefore represents a specific Bordeaux origin, combining a Merlot foundation with the complementary presence of Cabernet in the property’s red wines.
