Description

Les Perrières grew from Julie and Baptiste Guinaudeau's work on the Meyney plateau, where clay-limestone soils lie over limestone rich in star-shaped fossils. Established in 2018, the project brings Merlot together with Bouchet from Lafleur's vine heritage, translating that viticultural approach into a different setting. The estate highlights precise tannins, controlled power and persistence, qualities that explain its stylistic relationship with Lafleur. The wine nevertheless retains an identity rooted in its own soils: an interpretation of Bordeaux red in which the quality of the tannic weave matters as much as overall depth.
