Description

Château Margaux 1er G.C.C. is the estate’s Grand Vin from Margaux, listed among the Premier Grand Cru Classé. The wine is a blend centered on Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, reflecting the appellation’s character. It typically displays an elegant structure and fine tannins, with aromas of dark fruit and floral notes. Maturation is carried out largely in new French oak barrels, on average for about 21 months.
