Pavillon Blanc du Château Margaux is made entirely from Sauvignon Blanc and has carried its name since 1920, continuing a tradition of white winemaking at the property that began in the late seventeenth century. Grape selection is especially rigorous, and maturation takes place in French oak, with some of the wine housed in larger barrels. The estate describes a rich, dense style enlivened by lasting freshness. Breadth, supple texture and precise acidity work together in a balance that underpins its established capacity to develop with time in bottle.
