Description

Château Musar Red brings together Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan and Cinsault from around Aana and Kefraya in Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley. Bush vines grow on gravelly soils over limestone. The varieties ferment separately in concrete before moving into French oak barrels ahead of blending. The wine completes a lengthy cellar journey, including maturation in bottle, and is bottled without fining or filtration. The producer recommends careful decanting and suggests serving it alongside roasts, grilled lamb, game or mature cheeses, food matches that accompany its traditionally developed character.
