Description

Château Pape Clément Blanc is the estate’s dry white wine from Pessac in the Pessac-Léognan appellation. Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon are joined by Sauvignon Gris in the cuvée’s identity, maintaining its connection with the white-wine tradition of the Graves. Whole berries are pressed gently under protection from oxygen, and the juice is transferred by gravity. French-oak vinification is complemented by the use of concrete vessels, while subsequent contact with fine lees and bâtonnage help shape the wine. The approach brings breadth and texture together with freshness, defining a white wine with a substantial yet balanced profile.
