Description

The Châteauneuf-du-Pape "Pignan" 2012 from Château Rayas is a red wine from the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation produced by the Reynaud family. It is the Pignan cuvée, sourced from the Pignan lieu-dit and vinified predominantly from Grenache. The vines grow on the sandy soils typical of the area, and the cuvée is considered a distinct expression of the domaine's terroir. It is noted for careful winemaking and for having the structure to develop further with cellar aging.
