Description

Château Respide-Médeville Rouge comes from the Graves area and brings together Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Its vineyard is rooted in gravel above a clay subsoil, a setting central to the estate’s identity. The property joined the Médeville family in 1984 and is managed by Julie and Xavier Gonet-Médeville. Grapes are harvested by hand and vinified in stainless-steel tanks with skin maceration. Maturation includes a component aged in barriques. The wine connects these two Bordeaux varieties with the gravel character of its origin and the family’s established tradition in Graves.
