Description

Domaine Chatelain's Sancerre Sélection is a Sauvignon from the villages of Verdigny, Sury-en-Vaux and Chavignol. The blend brings together mainly clay-limestone ground with a proportion of caillottes, the Sancerrois' stony limestone soils. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks, each equipped with individual temperature control. The colour shows bright green reflections, while the aromatic profile suggests ripe lemon and grapefruit. The palate retains a slight minty nuance and good persistence. The cuvée accompanies white meats in cream sauce, poultry, fish, crustaceans, shellfish and goat cheeses.
