Description

Chevrot’s Maranges “Sur le Chêne” is a Burgundy Pinot Noir from the Maranges appellation in the Côte de Beaune. Aromas of ripe red berries are complemented by spicy notes and subtle toasty hints from barrel ageing. The palate is fresh and savory, with silky tannins and a mineral-tinged finish of notable persistence. The wine is matured for about 12 months, roughly 10 months in oak barrels with a small proportion of new oak.
