Description

Le Clou 34 is a white wine made from Aligoté grown around Corgoloin and Magny-lès-Villers in the Côte de Nuits. The fruit comes from very old vines (the main 'Le Clou' parcel was planted in 1934) and is whole-cluster pressed with spontaneous fermentations. The wine is aged for an extended period on fine lees, racked under limited air, bottled by gravity, left unfiltered and given a light addition of sulfur at bottling.
