Description

Cuvée Auguste is the Pinot Noir of Clos des Vignes du Maynes, the walled vineyard in Cruzille, in the Mâconnais, farmed organically and biodynamically by Julien Guillot. It comes from old vines on clay and limestone, ferments spontaneously and ages about ten months in wood. The 2022 is fine and vibrant, with herbs, small red fruits, rhubarb and citrus.
