Description

Clos du Moulin aux Moines Beaune Premier Cru Les Montrevenots Blanc comes from Chardonnay on a limestone plateau below the Saint-Désiré hill and above Clos des Mouches. The south-facing and southwest-facing parcel was replanted in 2017 and produced its first released cuvée in 2022. The grapes are harvested by hand, sorted in the vineyard and slowly pressed. Spontaneous fermentation takes place in a stoneware jar. Maturation proceeds without lees stirring or racking, and the wine is bottled without fining or filtration.
