Description

Deus-Ex Machina from Clos Saint-Jean is a Châteauneuf-du-Pape cuvée built on a Grenache base reinforced by Mourvèdre, and is the estate's most structured wine. The fruit comes from the domaine’s historic parcels where red clay soils give Grenache a tannic backbone that Mourvèdre complements. The wine is vinified and aged according to the estate’s practices to express the site’s character. This bottling is from the 2019 vintage.
