Description

Altare is a white wine from Clos Venturi produced in Corsica. It is a field blend of indigenous varieties — Biancu Gentile, Vermentino, Riminese, Genovese and Carcaghjolu Bianco — grown on terraced vineyards over granitic and gréseux soils at higher elevation. The aromatic range mixes floral and Mediterranean-maquis notes with pronounced mineral character, while the palate is supple, sapid and structurally balanced. Maturation in oak adds complexity without overwhelming the wine's freshness.
