Description

Te Koko offers an interpretation of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc shaped by the depth of its fruit and patient work in the cellar. The grapes come from older vines on the floor of the Wairau Valley, rooted in freely draining gravel soils. Fermentation takes place slowly in French oak with indigenous yeasts, followed by time on fine lees before blending. This approach gives Te Koko its distinctive texture and complexity while retaining the support of freshness. It presents a layered expression of the variety, bringing the character of selected vineyard parcels together with development in wood.
