Description

The Col d’Orcia Vigna Nastagio Brunello di Montalcino 2019 is a single-variety Brunello made from a massal selection of Sangiovese grown in the Nastagio vineyard on an alluvial terrace in the Orcia river basin. Winemaking includes skin fermentation and maturation beginning in tonneaux, followed by aging in larger oak casks and additional bottle ageing. The wine shows ruby color with red-fruit and spicy notes, a structured palate and firm yet mature tannins, offering good potential for further bottle development.
