Description

La Breña is a small Garnacha parcel in the Sierra de Gredos, situated close to the Rumbo al Norte vineyard. Comando G presents it within its Premier Cru selection, highlighting a high-altitude setting and soils that bring granite, sand and silt together. The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented as whole clusters with natural yeasts in wood before maturation in large casks. The importer describes a more open, forward profile than neighbouring Rumbo, with rounded tannins and a sleek expression. This is Garnacha interpreted through the distinctive character of an individual parcel.
