Description

Barolo Monvigliero is a Barolo DOCG from Comm. G.B. Burlotto made from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Monvigliero vineyard of Verduno. Vinification uses whole clusters with foot pressing and submerged-cap maceration for about two months. Following malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged roughly three years in large Slavonian and Allier oak casks (35–50 hl); bottling is generally carried out without fining or filtration.
