Description
Caracol dos Profetas is a white wine made exclusively from the indigenous Caracol grape grown on Porto Santo Island. It shows a pale yellow color and an intense, fresh aromatic profile with floral notes and hints of iodine and gunpowder. Winemaking includes hand harvesting, whole-bunch direct pressing and spontaneous fermentation without added SO2, followed by roughly 10 months on lees in stainless steel. The palate is crisp and lively, with bright acidity, making it a good match for raw seafood and grilled white fish.
