Description

A white wine from the island of Porto Santo made in the historic “vinho da corda” style, using the concentrated must from the final press. It is made from Listrão and Caracol, undergoes spontaneous fermentation without SO2 until completion and is aged 12 months in an old Porto Santo pipo. Golden in colour, the wine offers an intense, saline-iodine aromatic profile with ferric notes, and is full-bodied, concentrated and persistent on the palate.
