Description

Red wine from Madeira’s Vale de São Vicente. Predominantly Tinta Negra with contributions from Saborinho and Tinta Bastarda; grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation, about 40 days of maceration and eight months’ aging in used French oak barrels. Bright ruby colour with intense red-fruit aromas, mossy and mineral charcoal nuances; the palate is fresh, textured, with persistent tannins and a long finish. Limited production (approximately 2,700 numbered bottles), 12% ABV.
