Description

Conte d’Attimis-Maniago’s Ronco Broilo is a Friuli Colli Orientali white combining Malvasia, Friulano and Ribolla Gialla. The grapes come from the estate’s south-facing vineyards in Buttrio, on marl and sandstone soils with a predominantly clay component. The wine matures in barrels on fine lees kept in suspension, then continues ageing in bottle in the underground cellar. Its deep straw colour has golden reflections. Hazelnut, dates and candied fruit emerge on the nose, with a slight vanilla nuance. The palate is full and soft, accompanied by prolonged persistence.
