Description

The Conterno Fantino Barolo Vigna del Gris 2021 is a cru from Monforte d’Alba made entirely from Nebbiolo. It comes from the Ginestra vineyard “Vigna del Gris”, planted on Lequio Formation soils—calcareous and sandy—with a south‑east exposure. Vinification includes maceration and fermentation in steel with malolactic fermentation in wood; ageing takes place in French oak of various sizes. The wine shows floral and red-fruit aromas, a defined tannic structure and persistent finish that evolve with bottle age.
