Description

Continuum comes from Sage Mountain Vineyard on the slopes of Pritchard Hill in eastern Napa Valley. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot contribute to a blend developed through separate work with individual vineyard blocks. The vines sit above the fog line, where bay breezes temper the summer heat. Red, rocky volcanic soils with low fertility naturally limit production. In the cellar, wood and concrete provide the vessels for the individual lots, which are subsequently brought together to express the varied character of the estate.
