Description

The Contratto Alta Langa Riserva Special Cuvée Pas Dosé 2015 is a vintage Alta Langa DOCG sparkling wine from Contratto, made from vineyards in the Bossolasco area of Piedmont. The cuvée is dominated by Pinot Noir (about 90%) with roughly 10% Chardonnay; the Chardonnay spends about seven months in used barriques. Produced by the traditional method, the wine rests on the lees for more than 90 months and is released as a pas dosé bottling, showing fine mousse, pronounced minerality and long persistence.
