Coppo’s Riserva della Famiglia Chardonnay comes from small parcels identified through years of separate vinifications. Produced since 1998 only in vintages considered suitable, it expresses the estate’s search for a particularly deep interpretation of Chardonnay. The vines grow on clay-limestone marl containing gypsum and iron-rich components. Hand-picked grapes are gently pressed and fermented in barrique, where extended maturation continues with lees stirring. The profile suggests mango, banana, jasmine and honey, while the palate shows breadth and an enveloping texture, reflecting the careful selection behind this limited-production wine.
