Description

Corbon’s Les Bacchantes is a Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Champagne made exclusively from Chardonnay grown in Avize in the Côte des Blancs. The cuvée undergoes fermentation and maturation in oak barrels, with malolactic fermentation completed. The wine is neither fined, filtered nor cold-stabilised, and continues its development with bottle ageing on the lees. Its name playfully refers to Claude Corbon’s moustache, depicted on the label. Agnès Corbon’s winemaking keeps one origin and one grape variety at the centre, interpreted through the use of wood.
