Description
The 2010 Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva from Corte San Benedetto is a red wine made from dried grapes—Corvina veronese, Corvinone and Rondinella—sourced from vineyards in Negrar, San Pietro in Cariano and Marano. Produced with the traditional appassimento method and aged about five years in Slavonian oak and small barrels, it displays an intense ruby hue with garnet highlights and ethereal aromas of black fruit and sweet spices. On the palate it is structured and velvety, with well-defined tannins typical of an Amarone Riserva.
