Description

The Cossart Gordon Bual is a medium-sweet Madeira wine made from Bual (Boal) grapes grown on the island of Madeira. It typically shows an amber colour with aromas of dried fruit, figs and caramel, layered with vanilla and oak influence from barrel ageing. On the palate it is rich and rounded yet balanced by lively acidity, finishing long with toffee and cooked-fruit notes. This fortified wine is commonly enjoyed as a dessert or after-dinner wine.
