Description
Costa Arènte’s Amarone della Valpolicella 2019 comes from the Valpantena area and is produced using the traditional drying (appassimento) of the grapes. The wine is mainly composed of Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella; the grapes dry for roughly three months. Maturation includes at least 2 years in tonneaux, followed by at least 1 year in Slavonian oak barrels and further bottle aging. The style is full-bodied and velvety, with dark cherry and spice notes, supported by good acidity and aging potential.
