Cottanera’s Etna Rosso Zottorinoto Riserva is a single-cru red from Castiglione di Sicilia on Mount Etna. Made from Nerello Mascalese grown on volcanic soils at roughly 750–800 m, it is matured in French oak and further aged in bottle. The wine displays ruby-garnet colour, floral and Mediterranean herb aromas layered with red-berry and spice notes, and a silky yet persistent tannic texture on the palate. It pairs well with earthy mushroom and truffle dishes, game and aged cheeses.
