The 2021 Etna Rosso DOC “Alberello” from Crasà is made from bush-trained vines in the Contrada Crasà on Mount Etna’s northern slope. It is produced from 100% Nerello Mascalese and is aged roughly 12 months in cement vats. Aromas of red fruit, subtle spice and volcanic mineral character are evident, while the palate is savory with fine tannins and a persistent finish.
