Description

Crissante Alessandria’s Barolo del Comune di La Morra brings together Nebbiolo from Roggeri, San Biagio and Bettolotti. The different parcels combine limestone and clay soils with sandy and marly components, contributing to an overall interpretation of the municipality. Hand harvesting is followed by extended skin fermentation in stainless steel, with frequent pump-overs. The wine matures in large Slavonian oak casks and then bottle. Its profile recalls cherry, ripe strawberry and dried apricot; the palate is full and elegant, with silky tannins and a clean impression on the finish.
