Description

Monvigliero introduces a Verduno expression to the Crissante Alessandria range, distinct from the La Morra vineyards associated with the family's history. The project began with the 2020 harvest, using purchased fruit from this cru under a label separate from the estate's own vineyard wines. Alberto Alessandria's approach remains rooted in traditional winemaking, with upright stainless steel fermentation tanks, gentle pumpovers and maturation in large oak casks. This is therefore a wine centred on Nebbiolo from a specific origin, interpreted by the Santa Maria di La Morra cellar while retaining its separate vineyard identity.
