Description

Kevin John 2025 is Cullen’s Chardonnay made entirely from its estate vineyard, using biodynamically certified grapes. The name, adopted in 2006, honours co-founder Kevin John Cullen; the own-rooted Wente-clone vines were planted in 1976. Harvesting is by hand, followed by whole-bunch basket pressing. Both alcoholic and malolactic fermentation take place with indigenous microflora. The wine spends seven months in puncheons, half of them new, and is made without fining, filtration or cold stabilisation, retaining the detail of the estate’s stated approach to this vintage.
