Description

The 2019 Sant'Antimo Ombrone from Cupano is a red Sant'Antimo DOC wine from the Montalcino area, made in a Bordeaux-inspired style. It is produced from a blend dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot and often a component of Cabernet Franc; the varieties are vinified separately and the wine is aged in barriques for at least 18 months. On the palate it is full-bodied and structured, with firm tannins and flavors of black fruit, cocoa and earthy notes that linger on the finish.
