Description
CVNE’s Imperial Gran Reserva comes from small Rioja Alta vineyards at elevations of 550–650 metres. The bush-trained vines are grown without irrigation on gentle south-facing slopes, with clay soils, river pebbles and little organic matter. The climate combines Atlantic and continental influences. Produced only in harvests considered exceptional, the wine belongs to the history of Imperial, which began in the 1920s. The winery intends it to develop with time, placing the selection of vineyard parcels and attentive work among the vines at the centre of its identity.
