Description

Kaplja is a skin-contact white produced by Damijan Podversic in the Collio area. It is a blend of Chardonnay, Friulano and Malvasia Istriana, fermented in contact with the skins for roughly 60–90 days in large oak vats and then aged in wood before bottling. The wine is noted for its deep golden–amber color, concentrated aromatics and a structured profile consistent with Collio orange wines.
