Description

The Prelit 2020 from Damijan Podversic is a red wine labeled Venezia Giulia IGT made from a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Vinification includes roughly 40 days of skin contact in large oak vessels, followed by about three years of aging in 20–30 hl barrels and additional bottle aging. Aromas of Merlot fruit are complemented by the Cabernet’s refined tannins; on the palate the wine is structured with a smooth finish. Natural bottle sediment is typical; serving temperature is suggested around 15 °C.
