Description

Damilano’s Barolo Brunate comes from the namesake vineyard designation in La Morra and is made entirely from Nebbiolo. The vines face south and southeast on soils combining silt, clay and sand. Fermentation is carried out at controlled temperatures. The estate’s description includes violet, small red fruits and balsamic suggestions alongside spices, with tobacco, rose and liquorice emerging as the wine matures. The palate is dry and full, with a texture balancing austerity and softness. Brunate thus offers an interpretation of Nebbiolo centred on the relationship between elegance, body and persistence.
