Description

The Damilano Barolo Raviole 2021 is a single-vineyard Barolo DOCG from the Raviole site in the municipality of Grinzane Cavour. Made from 100% Nebbiolo, it shows a ruby red colour leaning toward garnet and an aromatic profile of florals and red fruit, notably violet, cherry and wild strawberry. On the palate it is balanced and harmonious, with lively acidity and fine, precise tannins; aging is carried out in large oak casks. The vineyard soils are calcareous with an estimated composition of 20% sand, 52% silt and 28% clay.
