Description

Produced by David Léclapart in Trépail (Premier Cru), L'Apôtre is a Blanc de Blancs that expresses the chalky, saline profile of the Montagne de Reims. Made mainly from old-vine Chardonnay, it is frequently fermented or aged in old oak and matured on the lees for extended periods with very low dosage. The nose shows citrus, yellow fruit, brioche and toasted almond; on the palate it features fine bubbles, mineral tension and a saline, persistent finish.
