Description

De Sousa’s Cuvée 3A is a Grand Cru Extra Brut non-vintage blend of Chardonnay (Avize) and Pinot Noir (Aÿ and Ambonnay). Part of the selected grapes are vinified in 225-litre oak barrels, adding roundness and a subtle buttery character. In the glass it appears pale gold with copper highlights; the nose combines citrus and tropical fruit from the Chardonnay with red-berry notes from the Pinot Noir. On the palate it balances mineral freshness and body, making it well suited to seafood and white meat dishes.
