Description

Delas Frères' La Galopine is a Condrieu made from Viognier grown in several parcels selected for their exposure and soil characteristics. The vineyard lies on the right bank of the Rhône, in a landscape of steep terraces overlooking the river. Poor, acidic granite soils are central to its origin. The wine combines aromatic intensity and richness with freshness and mineral tension. The cuvée seeks a balance between substance and precision while retaining the character of Viognier and its connection with this part of the northern Rhône.
