Description

Delas Frères' Chante Perdrix is a Cornas made from Syrah grown on steep east- and southeast-facing slopes. The hills form a natural amphitheatre offering shelter from cold winds. The soils derive from highly decomposed granite, locally called gores, while stone walls support the vineyard terraces. The cuvée brings together parcels at different elevations. Its profile is broad and structured, with depth, power and freshness. A substantial structure accompanies its development over time, keeping its granite origin and the character of Cornas Syrah at the centre of the wine.
