Description

Delas Frères' Seigneur de Maugiron is a Côte-Rôtie made from Syrah selected on the appellation's slopes, on the right bank of the Rhône. The landscape consists of very steep hillsides, while the underlying geology includes mica schist, gneiss and migmatite. Vineyard exposure and the diversity of the rocks contribute to the cuvée's identity. Its profile emphasises depth, finesse and fresh fruit, with a defined structure. It is an expression of northern Rhône Syrah in which the character of the hillside and the pursuit of balance play central roles.
